Emergency First Response Instructor Course
During this course you will build on your skill as an Emergency Responder and focus on developing your instructional abilities to teach these skills to others.
The Instructor course provides training necessary to teach the main Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) CPR & AED and Care for Children courses.
As an Emergency First Response Instructor, courses you can conduct;
- Primary Care (CPR) - with optional Oxygen Therapy
- Secondary Care (First Aid)
- Care For Children
- CPR & AED
- 12hr Care for Children for Professional Care Providers
- Primary Care for Schools
- Manual Handling - Once applied for the Specialty Rating
- Mental Health Awareness - Apply directly for this rating to EFR if the instructor holds the full 2-day Mental Health First Aid course from Mental Health First Aid (England)
- Airborne Pathogens Awareness – direct application on viewing of the EFR Airborne Pathogens webinar (Emergency First Response® Airborne Pathogen Awareness Distinctive Course - PADI Pros)
Through a multi-media approach of independent study, classroom sessions and practical teaching assignments, you learn to conduct Emergency First Response courses.
Prerequisites
- Be 18 years or older.
- Have completed Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) training in the past 24 months or a be a practicing medical professional such as a physician, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic or Registered Nurse.
